BUILT ON STRONG FOUNDATIONS

Red House Developments is a collaboration between multi-skilled builder/craftsman, Mike Leech and highly experienced civil engineer, Steve Wooler.

We’ve been good friends for 35 years; our families are very close and our children have grown up together. We’ve designed and built our own family homes and then adapted and extended them over the years.

Forming a market-leading, boutique style residential development company has been an aspiration for many years. This became a reality when, in December 2023, Steve stepped back from his role as CEO of a successful Engineering and Environmental Consultancy business.

Our business was established in June 2023 with the name being a link to Red House council estate in Sunderland where Steve was born and raised.

Although Red House Developments is a new venture it has an exceptionally strong pedigree in the building industry, the planning and engineering professions and, importantly, in truly sustainable development. These are the essential foundations upon which Red House Developments is being built, but it is shaped and guided by our deeply held principles of trust, honesty and integrity. We will always deliver what we promise.
